More information about the group

The Bristol Folk Singers are a friendly choir coming together to sing English Folk Songs in traditional harmony. We sing for the joy of singing but have also have performed in many venues and at the Priddy and Bristol Folk Festivals . One of the highlights of our year is our Christmas concert where we perfom traditional carols at Horfield Baptist church, then sing them again in various pubs on Gloucester road. To join this group of singers you don't need to audition and you don't need to be able to read music. All songs are taught by ear with music provided. The group is lead by Matt Norman

Joining the Choir

The choir rehearses at The Horfield Quaker Meeting House. We rehearse 5 times each half term and the 5 sessions cost £35. Rehearsal dates are below. The best time to join the choir is September or January but please contact me at any time to enquire.
